According to an article in the New York Times, the Defense Department has reported nearly 50 destroyed video tapes documenting interrogations of two terrorism suspects, including footage of forcible gagging. After the Pentagon review that was sparked this January when the CIA acknowledged the destruction of certain videos of interrogations, it appears that more interrogations of terrorism suspects were made.
